Janet Damita Jo Jackson is innovative, socially conscious and provocative. As one of the world’s best-selling music artists selling 100’s of millions of records Janet’s lists of accomplishments as should be expected, holds from the most consecutive top-ten entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart by a female artist, to being named the second most successful dance club artist of all-time after Madonna in December 2016.

She once established the “Rhythm Nation Scholarship,” donating funds from her tour to several educational programs. In June 2005, she was honored with a Humanitarian Award by the Human Rights Campaign and AIDS Project Los Angeles as recognition for her involvement in raising money for AIDS charities.

In 2012, she endorsed Nutrisystem Company, a commercial provider of weight loss products and services; sponsoring their weight-loss program after struggling with weight in past times. She has also invested her means in making life a bit easier for others. She does this largely through community service, helping selected minorities with special needs live a more humane life.
