1. Dr Wedu Tose Somolekae

She is the founder of  Medi-Glow Aesthetics, one of a kind aesthetics company.

Somolekae says that, at her clinic they believe that health is not merely the absence of disease but also operating at your absolute and serving the world, the most confident version of yourself as a cli-ent. It is this desire that sees her continuing to share her love, and the many success stories about clients who left her clinic completely transformed and looking like they have bathed in coconut milk, fused with honey.

2. Rosalia Nghitalesheni Joseph

Rosalia Nghitalesheni Joseph is a Namibian Researcher at the University of Namibia Multidisciplinary Research. In addition to this, she is embedded with the National Vector-borne Disease Control Programme (NVDCP) of the Ministry of Health and social services (MoHSS) of Namibia where she supports the program as an Entomologist. She is also a member of the Biomedical Research Laboratory of UNAM where they solve local challenges like malaria, the locusts, COVID-19 as well as the validation and value addition of medicinal plants.

3. Temilade Openiyi

Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer.

She is widely known for her feature on Wizkid single, “Essence“, which reached the top ten of the Hot 100 after a reworked version that has an additional feature from Justin Bieber and earned her a Grammy Award nomination.

The singer became the first female Nigerian artiste to win a Grammy award as she won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category on Sunday night for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.

She became the first Nigerian artist to receive an Oscar nomination for her contribution to Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’, a track recorded for the movie ‘Wakanda Forever’.

4. Khethokuhle ‘Kay Yarms’ Ngonyama

‘Kay Yarms’ whose real name is Khethokuhle Ngonyama is a South African beauty content creator. She was born and bred in KwaZulu Natal and currently, she stays in Western Cape where she made a name for herself when she became a beauty influencer.

She left her Accounting degree at the University of Witwatersrand for the beauty industry because of her love for makeup.

5. Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe

Oyinkansola Born on June 14, 2002, Sarah Aderibigbe is a Nigerian singer and composer better known by her stage name, Ayra Starr. Ayra Starr, born in Cotonou, Benin, started working as a model at 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to focus on music. She initially shared an original song on her page in December 2019 after recreating several songs by well-known musicians on Instagram.

6. Nompumelelo ‘Mpoomy’ Ledwaba

Nompumelelo Ledwaba expertly known as Mpoomy is a South African public figure, YouTuber, and Entrepreneur.

She is currently the founder of Aneno Beauty and had previously worked as a banker, model, and backup singer to Gospel artists such as Donnie McClurkin, VaShawn Mitchell, and Dr Tumi.

 

7. Yvette Ishimwe

Yvette is founder of Iriba, start-up that provides safe drinking water to rural and urban communities in Rwanda, by creating water kiosks and selling water filters and ATMs.
During her YWF pilot she set up a rural kiosk in Ruramira village that now provides water to 3,000 people. She now serves more than 30,000 people daily.

 

8. Oluwabusayo Victoria Abiri

Abiri Oluwabusayo Victoria Khloe is the CEO of the Kokobykhloe brand. Aside from running simultaneously a successful beauty and fashion brand, the BBNaija 2018 housemate is also a model and actress. And serves as brand ambassador and influencer for some huge brands.

9. Asisat Oshoala

Asisat Oshola is one of the best African players in the world. The striker has been chosen as African Player of the Year on no less than four occasions (2019, 2014, 2016 and 2017). The year 2014 was a stellar one for the Nigerian as she also claimed the Ballon d’Or and the Golden Shoe at the U20 World Cup. Oshola has great experience despite her youth having played for Arsenal in 2016 alongside Vicky Losada and for Liverpool the previous year in the English top division of Women’s Football.

During a spell in China she was top scorer in the 2017 Superleague. The striker comes to FC Barcelona on loan from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian and was presented as a Barça player on 31 January 2019.

 

10. Blessing Joel Abeng

Blessing Abeng is a branding and communications expert dedicated to helping brands identify and communicate their unique identity and tell better stories. She is the co-founder and Director of Communications at Ingressive for Good, a nonprofit organization with the mission to create and increase the earning power of 1 million African youth through tech training and resources for the growth of the African startup ecosystems.
