Entreprenuer advice from Melford Vincent, twenty one year old business owner

MELFORD-VIN-759x500

All over Africa, there has been an immense increase in the number of female business owners and you can tell that we love it. There’s nothing more exciting than seeing Africa and it’s women rise.

So many of these business owners are young women but there are many more young women who have not figured out how to harness their talents and make profit from it. What’s worse, we know that there is this notion that you can’t combine two things together, like work and school, family and business.

Well it’s time to get that idea out of your head.

Melford’s advice will do you some good.

Wondering who she is? Melford Vincent is the CEO, I grow. Although she is pursuing a degree in Law her struggle with badly damaged hair led her to start her own hair care company.

This is her advice.

“Kick the notion that two things don’t go together. They sure do, and you can start building your dream, no matter how old you are. There’s nothing wrong in starting small, you don’t need to break the bank to start a business. I started mine with  less than $10”
