Toke Makinwa launches entrepreneurship grant initiative

Media personality, author, and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa, recently launched her entrepreneurship grant initiative, On Becoming Empowered. The campaign is geared towards giving back to budding entrepreneurs who have terrific small start-up business plans, but have little or no initial capital to implement their plans.

50 candidates have already been shortlisted, but ultimately, there can only be four winners as follows:
•    1st prize = N1,000,000
•    2nd prize = N1,000,000
•    3rd prize = N1,000,000
•    4th Prize = N1,000,000

To assist her with this task, Toke has picked four judges: Mai Atafo, Arese Ugwu, Titilayo Oyinsan, and J.J Omojuwa. Speaking on her choice of judges, Toke says:

Moving ahead and to help pick the winners here are the panelists: Mai Atafo who is passionate not only about fashion but brand management, he is a tough one.

Arese Ugwu. I call her the money woman, she’s all about the financial movement, wealth management and changing our bad money habits.

Titi Oyinsan is a philanthropist, her heart for charity is remarkable and she is media practitioner too

Omojuwa is a social media entrepreneur, human rights activists, the conversation guy as I love to call him.
