Anne-Marie Osawemwenze Ore-Ofe Imafidon MBE is a British computing, mathematics and language child prodigy. She is one of the youngest to pass two GCSEs in two different subjects while in primary school.
At the age of 11, Anne-Marie Imafidon passed her computing A-Level. By 20, she was one of the youngest to ever receive a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
In 2013, she founded Stemettes, a social enterprise promoting women in STEM careers. The organization runs panel sessions and hackathons supporting girls and young women who are considering a STEM career.
Dr Anne-Marie has worked with some of the top-choice companies in the world including Goldman Sachs, Hewlett-Packard and Deutsche Bank.
She has received Honorary Doctorates from Open University, Glasgow Caledonian University, Kent University & Bristol University and an Honorary Fellowship at Keble College, Oxford. She is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Sunderland.
A recognised thought-leader in the technology arena, Anne-Marie is a renowned champion and inspiration for women looking to find a role in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
She delivers keynotes at leading companies and organisations all over the world, is listed as one of the BBC’s 100 inspirational and innovative women, Forbes Top 50 Global Women in Tech and an ELLE Magazine ‘Disruptor’.
