Uber recently appointed Francesca Uriri as Internal Communications Lead for People, Culture & Diversity at its Head Quarters in San Francisco.
In her new role, Francesca will lead Uber’s People and Culture Internal Communication efforts, supporting both the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) and the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer (CDIO).
Prior to that, Francesca led Regional Communications Efforts for Uber in West & East Africa, helping to drive brand safety, consumer and corporate communications for Uber within markets in the region.
Before joining Uber, Francesca worked in various corporate communications functions in leading organizations like Webershandwick, the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Oando PLC amongst others.
She is also the Founder of Leading Ladies Africa; a women empowerment non-profit that promotes leadership, diversity and inclusiveness for women of African descent.
Francesca is a PR and Communications expert with 12+ years’ experience spanning corporate relations, corporate reputation management, event architecture, media management and content development.
