Oluwaseun Osowobi Ayodeji is giving hope to rape victims

seun (1)

Two years after she survived rape, Oluwaseun Osowobi Ayodeji started an NGO to provide support for other survivors.  In 2013, she started an online platform, Stand to End Rape, on social media as a means to help survivors speak out. This was born out of the need to help those who have been violated with opportunities for justice and psychological and social support.

Her efforts were recently awarded when she won The Future of Women Award which seeks to inspire, engage, and recognize rising women leaders across the continent of Africa. Out of 1200 nominations from 40 countries received, Oluwaseun won in the area of social impact.

Oluwaseun will receive ad-credit and individual support from Facebook as well as advice on how to connect to the office of the first lady in Nigeria.
