Nikki Ogunnaike is the new Editor in Chief of Marie Claire magazine.

Marie Claire has recently announced Nikki Ogunnaike as their incoming editor in chief, starting from August 8th. In this role, Ogunnaike will oversee the editorial direction for Marie Claire across various platforms, including print, digital, events, and social media, and will report directly to Hillary Kerr, the chief content officer of Who What Wear and Marie Claire.

“Nikki is an absolute visionary, with a distinct point of view, peerless taste and unparalleled experience,” said Kerr. “To see her lead this historic brand into a new era and continue to grow Future’s Women’s Network is unquestionably exciting.”

As part of her new position, Ogunnaike will spearhead the expansion of fashion and luxury coverage across multiple platforms, driving audience diversification and enhancing content strategy.

“For nearly 30 years, Marie Claire has been the go-to source for women who seek to lead a life of purpose and power,” said Ogunnaike in a statement. “As a long-time admirer, I’m thrilled to join the Marie Claire team and lead this brand into a new era.
