Today we are featuring two sisters whose need to find environmental friendly skin and beauty products for their family brought about a new company, Earth Elements.

After hearing of the many benefits the earth has to offer, Lynette Murua and her sister, Deidrè Akaloo decided to put those words to the test. First, they experimented using Shea butter to cure eczema then they used black castor oil to cure severe hair loss.

After these experiments worked, Earth Elements started in full force. Today, they hand make organic & natural body products, 100% suitable for Vegans, which soothes various skin and scalp ailments and also nourishes the entire body.

Every product they create stems from their own need for “natural comfort” without harming the environment.

According to the sisters, “we believe in what we create and to rubber stamp our “love in a jar” creations we’ve become members of the right associations and we’ve had our products endorsed by various bodies in the industry, to give not only the comfort but also the security that our ethos firmly stands to produce products with sustainable ingredients.”

Although the company is still in its formative years their plans are to grow Earth Elements to become a brand familiar to everyone, to have it accessible and cost-effective so nobody is really restricted from using Earth Elements products

In addition to this, they also plan to add handmade accessories to their brand in the form of facial and hair brushes; cosmetic pouches with designs unique to the African continent as well as body scrubs made of natural African fibres.

We wish them the best.
