#BlackGirlMagic: 5 reasons why we love Kehinde Smith

I’m pretty sure that whoever coined the term Black Girl Magic had this melanin goddess in mind. Kehinde Smith is an Entrepreneur and Beauty Influencer. She is the founder of My Extensionz and My Lash Extensionz a leading retailer of unique and versatile virgin hair products and 3d mink Lashes.

She launched her company (My Extensionz.com) the day of her graduation from the Northern Illinois University.

I personally love Kehinde Smith and I think you should too. I mean what’s not to love about her? Here are 5 reasons why I love Kehinde Smith; I hope they make you love her too.

She is super gorgeous!

From her amazing dark skin, to her fabulous hair oh lawd! She makes me wanna start taking melanin supplements. She has owned her skin colour enough to make us want to get darker instead of looking for bleaching creams.

She is never MIA

She holds it down in business and lifestyle quite amazingly. We could learn a thing or two from how she has mastered the art of balance between work and lifestyle, as both areas of her life are blooming

She is a major source of inspiration to the intending female entrepreneur.

I read an interview she had with Konnect Africa in 2015, where she explained the process of building her company alongside her twin. Her entrepreneurship journey is very relatable and in that interview I learnt that as a business owner, it is important that we stop worrying about our competitions but rather spend time improving our businesses creatively.

She is a trendsetter

Being a beauty influencer, she has a community of women who look up to her for beauty tips, advice and inspiration. And she never fails to deliver concrete and life saving beauty tips. Plus she makes me want to be dark skinned so that counts for something.

She is also passionate about providing educational opportunities for less privileged children so that they can develop their skills and contribute to society.

Kehinde Smith is Black, Amazing and Beautiful. She is the typical representation of Black Girl Magic.
