Beyonce Knowles-Carter is making it a duty to see dreams come true. In celebration of the success of her 1-year old Lemonade album, she has established the Formation Scholars award.

This platform offers 4 young women, who have interest in pursuing courses in Creative Arts, Music, Literature or African-American studies, the privilege of being granted scholarships into one per each of the following colleges: Berkley College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design and Spelman College.

As written on her website, the essence of the awards is to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box, and are bold, creative, conscious and confident”.

Thumbs up Beyonce!
