Elizabeth is a Content Creator, Marketing communications professional, Founder and Managing editor of For Working Ladies, an online career lifestyle hub for women. That’s not all about her, there’s more awesomeness.
She’s unapologetically in love with Africa
Elizabeth is passionate about sharing the African culture through art, food, music and social events. She co-founded a lifestyle brand, The Social Bloc which runs periodic social events in the UK to highlight the African culture. We love when we see women celebrating the African culture in any way they can.
She’s a solution provider
We definitely need more of her in the society. Elizabeth had searched at separate times to get a mentor but all efforts were proving abortive so she started For Working Girls to meet this need. These are her own words;
I would search the internet day and night looking for answers to my questions, read loads of articles, career profiles and then draw a conclusion on the topic. I knew I wasn’t the only person going through this and needed to create a platform where you could get career/entrepreneurship tips, read about other women that have taken your path and just daily lifestyle content.

She gives the best advice ( Literally)
We won’t even paraphrase her words . This is what she has to say to budding entrepreneurs.
Why did you start in the first place? Sit down and have a deep think. Remember your why at every low point and allow it to push you.
Don’t allow the distance between where you are and where you want to be scare you, however, allow it to inspire you, compete with yourself and do better than you did yesterday.
Stay encouraged and read career profiles. We all need motivation and inspiration on a daily basis. Read stories of other women that have taken this path of entrepreneurship and allow it to inspire you, especially the ones that have made plenty mistakes a great example is Sophia Amoruso.
Lastly, this may sound odd but maybe you should throw in the towel. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone and that’s alright, there are no failures only lessons learnt.
