What personal experiences inspired you to create this unique approach to intentional living and goal setting with The “Make the Vision Plain” Journal?
Growing up, I often repurposed exercise books to jot down the goals I wanted to achieve. These goals spanned various areas of my life—spiritual, career, educational, financial, and more. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to revisit some of those books, and it’s incredible to see how many of those goals have come to fruition.
This journey taught mefirsthand the power of clarity and having a sense of direction. Writing down goals not only organizes your thoughts but also activates both your conscious and subconscious mind to work toward making them a reality. Those personal experiences became the inspiration behind creating our journal brand.
Interestingly, one of the goals I wrote in one of those journals was to own my own journal brand.
And here we are today, turning that dream into a reality and sharing this story to inspire others.
It’s a full-circle moment that highlights the transformational power of intentional planning and
clearly defined goal
As a woman-led brand supporting other women, how have you designed the journal’s features specifically to address the unique challenges professional women face in balancing multiple life roles?
I designed the Make the Vision Plain journal with the goal of empowering professionals, especially women, to manage every aspect of their lives effectively and intentionally. Each feature was thoughtfully included to address key areas of life planning and organization.
For example:
Budgeting Features: The journal includes a detailed monthly budget section, enabling women to plan their finances with purpose and align their spending with their goals.
Weekly Expense Tracker: This tool provides a simple yet effective way to track day-to-day expenses, promoting financial accountability and mindfulness.
Vision Board: A dedicated space to visualize dreams and goals, helping users stay
inspired, motivated, and focused throughout the year.
Birthday Calendar: A thoughtful section to record important birthdays and celebrations, ensuring users can nurture and strengthen personal relationships.
These features, along with others not mentioned, seamlessly integrate life planning, financial tools, and personal touches. The result is a journal that serves as the perfect companion for professional women striving to balance their many responsibilities while staying aligned with their dreams and values.
Before creating Aspira, what was your own relationship with planning and goal-setting?
I’ve always valued having personal quiet times or retreats, which are moments I dedicate to prayer, reflection, and goal-setting. For me, prayer sets the foundation for everything else to fall into place. It’s during these moments that I seek clear direction from God, reflect on my life, and write down my goals.
Once those goals are written, I not only pray about them but also ensure they are actionable and
trackable. Throughout the year, I review my progress—some goals monthly, others quarterly—and take intentional steps toward achieving them.
At the end of the year, I conduct a thorough review. For any goals I wasn’t able to achieve, I move them to the next year and approach them with renewed focus and determination.
This practice has not only helped me stay organized and motivated but has also reinforced the importance of persistence, faith, and intentionality in everything I set out to do.
How does Aspira help women define and pursue success on their own terms while maintaining accountability.
At Aspira by Nuella O’Touch , our mission is to empower individuals to align their dreams with actionable steps, fostering a life of purpose, growth, and fulfillment. With women as our core focus, we thoughtfully designed the Make the Vision Plain journal to help them define and pursue success on their own terms while staying accountable.
Some of the key tools included in the journal are:
Goal Planner/Tracker: This tool enables women to set clear, actionable goals across various aspects of their lives—career, finances, personal growth, and more. By breaking these goals into manageable steps, it ensures consistency and progress.
Monthly Reviews: At the end of each month, users can reflect on their achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. This process helps recalibrate efforts and creates
opportunities to celebrate every win, no matter the size.
Quarterly Reviews: These deeper, periodic reflections provide a broader perspective on long-term progress. They allow women to assess growth, refine strategies, and ensure alignment with their unique vision of success. By combining structured planning with regular self-assessments, the Make the Vision Plain journal does more than help women stay on track—it inspires them to measure success in ways that are truly meaningful to them. It’s about creating a system that not only supports their ambitions but also celebrates their journey.

Balancing the roles of founder, visionary, and presumably other personal responsibilities must be demanding. How do you personally apply the principles you teach through the journal in managing these different aspects of your life?
It would be misleading to say that juggling multiple roles is easy—it’s undoubtedly demanding. However, I rely on many of the principles and tools included in the Make the Vision Plain journal to effectively manage these different aspects of my life. Here’s how these tools play a key role in my daily and long-term planning:
Vision Board: My vision board serves as a powerful visual reminder of my long-term goals and keeps me aligned with my purpose. It acts as a source of inspiration and focus, ensuring I stay connected to what truly matters, even during hectic times.
Monthly Dashboard: At the start of each month, I use the monthly dashboard to set clear intentions and prioritize my tasks. This tool allows me to reflect on past accomplishments, identify areas for growth, and create a roadmap for balanced progress in all areas of my life.
Daily/Weekly To-Do List: The detailed daily and weekly to-do lists help me stay organized and manage my time effectively. They allow me to break down larger tasks into actionable steps, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Appointments and Events Tracker: By keeping track of important appointments and events, I’m able to stay on top of both my personal and professional commitments. This tool also helps me plan ahead and make intentional space for leisure and self-care.
By consistently applying these tools, I’ve developed a structured yetflexible approach to managing my responsibilities. This not only helps me balance the demands of my various roles but also ensures that each area of my life receives the attention it deserves, creating a sense of fulfillment and progress.

Many women struggle with imposter syndrome when pursuing their dreams. How does Aspira’s approach to goal-setting help women overcome self-limiting beliefs?
Many women struggle with imposter syndrome when pursuing their dreams, and the Make the Vision Plain journal addresses this by offering a comprehensive approach to goal-setting that helps overcome self-limiting beliefs. In designing the journal, I incorporated personal assessment prompts that guide users through deep self-reflection. Here’s how these features help:

Overcoming Self-Limiting Beliefs: Through these assessments, users can identify and challenge negative thoughts that contribute to imposter syndrome. Understanding their true strengths and values enables them to reframe limiting beliefs and build a more empowering mindset.
Holistic Reflection: The journal covers key areas such as skill development, finance, time management, personal growth, relationships, spirituality, and environment. This well-rounded approach ensures that users are not only focusing on immediate goals but also considering long-term sustainability and fulfillment.
Empowering Growth: By offering a structured space for reflection and personal development, the journal empowers women to embrace their unique journey. It provides tools to recognize progress, celebrate achievements, and stay motivated despite challenges.
Through these thoughtfully designed assessments, Make the Vision Plain fosters a supportive environment where women can confidently pursue their dreams, free from the constraints of imposter syndrome.
