“Set a clear vision for yourself, believe you have what it takes, and develop a plan to get there.” – Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor
In a world filled with so many men, Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor stands out. She is Google’s Country Manager in Nigeria and has proven her worth as a top-rated technology and business leader with a long list of achievements to show for it.
Under her leadership, Google Nigeria launched a series of innovative products and services aimed at building the online space in Nigeria. She has facilitated the inclusion of local content on Google because she believes that the Internet would be more useful for people, if they can find locally relevant information.
More local businesses have been listed on Google Maps, through the Get Nigerian Businesses Online Campaign. Google has also helped more Nigerian movies, music, arts, fashion shows, educational content, news, and sports to get on YouTube. In April, Google also launched the initiative to give one million Africans free digital training, online and offline.
Despite all these achievements, and more which have not been mentioned, Juliet gives all the credit to the amazing team she works with.
In a bid to help women get more out of life, she started an intimate session, Beyond Limits, where she talks to them about their goals, plans and beliefs while reminding them that they are limitless.
Her advice to every woman is to set a clear vision for herself, believe she has what it takes, and develop a plan to get there.
