Genevieve Nnaji, Uzoamaka Aduba, Francesca Uriri Makes The African Women Power Network 2018 List.

The African Women Power Network, an initiative of Mary Olushoga was founded to encourage more African women with powerful voices to continue to create programs and policies that support the development and growth of African women and girls.

The network recently released its annual power list which highlights the contributions of  forty African women with powerful, inspiring, and influential voices.

See below some women that made the cut.

Genevieve Nnaji- award-winning actor, writer and director whose film, “Lionheart” was acquired by Netflix, making it the first original Nigerian movie to be acquired by Netflix.
Francesca Uriri- Founder Leading Ladies Africa- a female empowerment non-profit that promotes leadership diversity and inclusion. She is also Senior Communications Manager at Uber West Africa
Uzoamaka Aduba- Actor; Emmy Award winner in both comedy and drama categories for the same role.

Simidele Adeagbo- Nigerian Athlete, Africa’s first female skeleton athlete. first African woman to compete in skeleton at the 2018 Winter Games.
