Named as one of the world’s top 50 women to watch within the global telecommunication industry in 2017, Uche Ofodile is known for taking big leaps in her career. She recently joined MTN as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Lonestar Cell, MTN Liberia.
Uche’s career cuts across the fields of marketing, advertising and public relations in the automotive, consulting,and broadcasting industries in Europe, the United States and Africa. In her previous role as the CEO for Tigo DRC, she successfully transformed the business strategy of the brand and ignited a 20% year-on-year growth and positioned the company for rapid market share gains.
In addition to this, Uche has also help senior leadership positions with some of the continent’s fastest-growing companies, including First Wireless (Nigeria) and Vodafone Ghana.
