Ally Angula is a serial entrepreneur and inspiration to many. After a successful career in Accounting, the founder of My Republik and co-founder of Leap Investments Namibia Group is not only making Namibia proud but also putting Africa on the world map.
Her company, Leap investments, produces local crops that are sold all over Namibia in order to reduce the nation’s dependence on imported fruits and vegetables.
My Republik, on the other hand is Namibia’s first commercial clothing brand that locally produces all the items they sell. Isn’t that impressive?
At the Global Entrepreneurship Summit GES 2015, My Republik was crowned the best woman-owned business in July.
Out of about 2,000 nominations, Ally was also selected as one of the Young Global Leaders of 2015. Apart from all she does for her companies, Ally serves as non-executive director for Old Mutual Life Assurance (Namibia).
