Matilda Sekoakoa is the founder of the social edupreneurship venture, Help A Child Grow Foundation, which aims at encouraging a love of learning, education and career development. the foundation also provides basic necessities for children who are in need.
The platform seeks to assist underprivileged children from the foundation phase, helping them to develop and grow to fulfill their potentials by giving these children access to developmental and learning programs and initiatives that provide a building block for them to learn and develop a love for reading and knowledge.
The Help A Child Grow foundation is the brainchild of Matilda and her partner, Lerato Kadiaka.
These tow women are passionate about raising awareness for the need to provide support and access to learning and reading for young children who do not have the usual support system.
These ladies have gone ahead to organize book drives which entailed sourcing books and other reading materials from friends and family to help young children to read and learn through hosting book party drives. Instead of bringing a gift, books were donated as gifts.
Help A child Grow foundation has affected the lives of many South African children positively, giving them the opportunity to learn and acquire knowledge and support.
