The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) has appointed Flora Mutahi as the first female Board Chair. She is part of the new leadership team unveiled at KEPSA’s 17th Annual General Meeting which was held virtually.
Commenting on her appointment, Flora said, “My appointment as the first-ever female chair is a testimony to KEPSA taking a giant step in the right direction of entrenching inclusivity and meritocracy in our leadership. We should continue with this drive and include not just women but also youth, persons living with disabilities, and MSME owners and leaders.”
Flora Mutahi is a Kenyan accountant, entrepreneur and corporate executive. She is chairperson of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers. She is also the founder and chief executive officer of Melvin Marsh International Limited, the manufacturer of Melvin’s Tea, a Kenyan brand.
Flora is passionate about the entrepreneurs, youth and SMEs particulate those run by women. She mentors many and speaks at any opportunity to help them shape their future.
