Grants & Program Intern

We’re looking for someone to support our programmatic and event functions at Leading Ladies Africa. You’ll be someone who is a good writer, great with development and execution of programs and events, and a problem solver. Bonus points if you’re familiar with social media and content management. 

This is a Lagos, Nigeria-based remote position, reporting directly to the Special Projects and Events Lead. 

Job Description:

• Conduct event and administrative tasks in support of LLA’s programmatic and event initiatives.

• Support the Special Projects Lead in the development and execution of LLA programs. 

• Support with program scheduling, follow up with speakers/panellists and the various Program cohorts.

• Support with the design and deployment of Program creatives and graphic collateral.

• Support the Programs Officer in Monitoring & Evaluation, drafting reports, concept notes, etc.

• Support stakeholder management with partners, donors and sponsors. 

• Support the Programs Officer in researching and identifying grant opportunities. 

Requirements:

• Support the development and execution of LLA programs and events

• Write and submit grant applications, proposals and developmental briefs to donors and corporate partners. 

• Conduct research and develop original content for LLA publications and reports.

• Support the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of LLA Programs.

• Write effective concept notes, proposals, reports on LLA’s impact for all funders and donor partners.
