Jo-ann Strauss started out as a model when she competed for Miss South Africa and won in 2001. However, since she completed her tenure as a beauty queen, she has excelled in different areas.
She is a public speaker, business woman and activist for UNICEF South Africa. As an activist, she raises awareness for children’s rights as a national ambassador and presents for the South African show Top Billing.
Strauss is passionate about the welfare of the most vulnerable in society, as she works with Stop Hunger Now and has designed a range of baby clothing with one of South Africa’s top clothing retailers, channeling all proceeds for feeding underprivileged families.
Isn’t that amazing?
