The LLA CAMP group presentation is definitely one for the book as our mentees in the 2021 Cohort of the Career Advancement and Mentorship Program (CAMP) had the chance to share from their wealth of knowledge. It was a blast!
Mentees were grouped into 4 teams and spoke on different topics ranging from work-life balance for working girls to the future of work for every working girl.
Team B did an amazing job speaking on Topic: Remote work, Physical Work, or Hybrid? The most suitable for a working girl and all the judges agreed that they deserved the trophy.
Meet the team members:
Obianuju Chukwu: She is a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional who has worked with brands to successfully communicate their services, create top of mind awareness for their businesses and scale up their revenue using Data-driven strategies, and successful digital campaigns.
She possesses over 6years professional experience working in departments ranging from customer experience and retention, research, brand positioning, brand building, design thinking, experiential marketing, digital marketing, content creation and communications.
Omoefe Agbontaen: Omoefe is a Finance professional (ACCA member and CFA level 2 candidate) with experience in Investment Banking, Strategy & Transformation, Asset Management and Financial Control. Executed various corporate finance transactions including debt and equity capital raising and M&A for clients across FMCG, Oil and Gas, Power, and Financial Institutions. She is also an analytical thinker and a self-starter driven to deliver results whilst also focusing on continuous learning and team success.
Olanrewaju David-Olusa: Olanrewaju is piloting the channel between Jumia and it’s end customer, an experienced On-site/Ecommerce Marketing Manager with skilled at UI/UX, consumer insights, trend research, data analysing and brand management within the FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Payment Solutions, Fashion & Beauty Industries.
Olanrewaju says the joy of discovery fuels her passion for exploring new campaigns and opportunities to create an impact by centering the customer first around marketing strategies excite her.
Oluwakanyinsola Abayomi-Amao: Over 13 years cumulative experience in the Financial Industry, with emphasis on Banking Operations. She is highly skilled in customer service and process improvements, review, optimization and analysis.
Safiya Musa is a Banking professional, and an Impact-preneur with excellent track record in various spheres of endeavour. Safiya is the National Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Fellow of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (NLI), a Member of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), and a Mentor, Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP).
Safiya is renowned for her intellect, leadership qualities, passionate commitment to worthy causes, versatility, diligence and an impactful results-oriented approach to issues. She is also at the vanguard of numerous initiatives to promote and support the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
Ethel Awino Odhiambo: Ethel is a Penetration tester with 3 years experience in the Information Technology Industry.
