16-year-old Katherine Eta emerged the third place winner in the 2017 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC) which took place in Disneyland, California, USA. The Microsoft Office competition sought to test student’s skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Katherine was the only African representative present at the competition.
Aside from the fact that she is the first Nigerian to become a third place winner in this competition, Katherine gets $1,500 cash reward, a NuVision Solo 10 Draw Tablet at the world championship and another N750,000 ReadManna Chairman’s Prize.
