Pastor Nike Adeyemi is the founder of the Real Woman Foundation, a non-profit organisation aimed at empowering vulnerable women and children in the society. The Real Woman foundation, which started out in 1999, serves as a platform for helping women involved in prostitution get off the streets, get rehabilitated and become socially empowered.
Pastor Nike’s passion to start the foundation was born out of her interest in the welfare of women. The Real Woman Foundation has gone on to include children in its welfare program, thereby birthing the Love Home Orphanage.
The Foundation partners with NAPTIP, an organisation dedicated to the rehabilitation of repatriated individuals, amongst others. For Pastor Nike, her ultimate goal is to help re-integrate the women and children back into the society.
