There’s a genius on the loose and it is Sarah Sanni, the Creative Artist behind Cera Cerni.
The creative artist, Sarah Sanni has been operating the Cera Cerni Company. She has selected a small team with extensive mathematical, sales, and marketing skills, all of whom will be invaluable to the new venture.
Sarah Sanni spent her early years in the Northern part of Nigeria. She moved to Ibadan after her primary schooling and then relocated back to Lagos in 2002 where her journey to Artistry began.
For Sarah, she stumbled on painting after resigning from her job
“I wasn’t happy at my job, so I resigned thinking I needed a change of organization but in the process of applying to other companies and going for interviews- one day, I painted my room and my friend saw it and wanted something for her room. After designing hers, she posted it online and a couple of her friends saw it and requested wall paintings too. I did it and got paid even though it was peanut at the time but I felt overwhelming happiness and that was when I knew that this was what I wanted to do.”
Cera Cerni provides decorative services in the form of wall painting and drawings to homes, offices, hotels, beauty house and salons, schools, baby rooms, bridges, and general outdoor designs. Wall mural is a new and fast growing sector of the interior decoration field. And CeraCerni intends to capitalize on the success of this industry by taking advantage of wall design opportunities in Lagos Island and farther.
Cera Cerni has worked in schools like Ivy Montessori and Heritage schools (one of the new and leading school) in Abuja- handling all the cartoon drawings, likewise in Kebbi state of Nigeria. Cera Cerni has had the opportunity to design the poolside of hotel, game house, offices, private homes and salons in the Lagos Island suburb. From desk and field market research carried out on some clients, it is clear that there is considerable potential in the wall design business. Cera Cerni has a substantial opportunity to dominate the Island region.

“I would advice an artist who is just starting to be ready to work hard, to be strong emotionally because there could be some setbacks, to be persistent and consistent because it’s also very easy to give up. To be prayerful. Lastly, to be passionate about the art – except, of course, it’s a hobby then you don’t have to take it too seriously.”
