“I believed in myself and that I could turn this dream into reality, so I started working on it straight away. My aim was to produce a fragrance just as good in quality as the high-end fragrances but a lot more affordable so that women from all walks of life could afford it. I think I have managed to accomplish that.”
Those are the words of Rose Mutsau, nurse, nutritionist and entrepreneur. How inspiring is that?
For years, Rose spent a lot of money on high end perfumes such as Tom Ford, Dior, Jo Malone and so on. It was therefore not surprising that when the opportunity to start a perfume line came up, she took it. Rose however made sure that hers was not only good quality but not as expensive as the others so that more women could afford it.
According to her, the process to getting the finished product was quite long. It took her six months and a lot of changes to get the right mix but she did not quit.
Since inception clients have had nothing but good things to say about the perfume brand, Belle by Summer Rose. They say it not only smells nice but it lasts long, almost the whole day.
This serial entrepreneur also has an online shop where she sells clothing items too.
Her advice to other entrepreneurs is to dream big and work hard to turn their dreams into reality.
