Julia Collins Runs a Pizza Company that Uses Both Humans and Robots.

Julia Collins is the Co-founder and President of Zume Pizza, a company that uses a team of humans and robots that work collaboratively to make the freshest pizzas on its way for delivery so it arrives as freshly as possible.

After bagging a degree from Harvard with a BA in Government, Julia got an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and with a passion for food moved to do what no black had done.

The robots use data analytics and artificial intelligence to cook the pizzas collaboratively. The food delivery trucks feature a patented cooking en-route technology so that the “pizza arrives at the peak of flavor and freshness.”

Apart from Zume, Julia serves as a Board Member for the Exploratorium and an Ambassador to the Smithsonian Institution and she’s all about empowering more black women to continue leaving legacies.

Since it’s inception in 2015, zume pizza is unrelenting in its effort to automate mundane aspects of the pizza making process. Don’t you just love it when black women step on the pedals of innovation and change the game? Gosh! It thoroughly tickles us with so much excitement.

Go Julia!
