She is a strong voice for abused women in Africa

Through her multiple award winning movie, Dry, Stephanie lent her voice to every possibly abused girl and woman in Africa. She stands as a protector of the girl-child.

She is passionate about social change in Africa

For Stephanie, film goes beyond the camera.  As she puts it, it’s a “vehicle” for her to drive strong social change in Africa. It is also a platform for her to put the spotlight on issues of social justice.

She is giving VVF patients back their lives

Stephanie did not just stop at Dry, the movie. She has gone on to help in the medical restoration of patients of Vesico Vaginal Fistula. Her message to women going through that is that of restoration and hope.

She is inspiring conversations on the effects of poverty and illiteracy

In an interview with Huffington Post, Stephanie attributed the serial abuse of African women to poverty, lack of education and the African view of women, thereby urging African leaders to look into and address such issues.
