There is no doubt that startups worry so much about how to effectively get their brand out into the market place and eventually get customers. But how do they get this done, especially if they have to worry about production, distribution and many other issues?

Bludoor Market was solely initiated to solve that need. Focusing on Marketing & Communications strategy development and implementation, together with business strategy development, audit and best practice processes implementation, Bluedoor Market ensures that a startup finds its feet in the already crowded market place by giving it structure.

The founder is Jolene Roelofse, a marketing and communications professional with over 10 years of experience. She takes pleasure in helping her clients reach their desired customers through experiential marketing.

Jolene has always wanted to be an entrepreneur. She believes that entrepreneurship is part of her DNA, and this has reflected in the way in which she approaches. However the journey has not always been smooth. She acknowledges that she at one point quit entrepreneurship and went back into corporate world. However she had a major turn around when she got selected for the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program in Nigeria with 1000 other African entrepreneurs.

Since then she has gone with her first love, entrepreneurship, and she has not looked back ever since.

Her major advice to other entrepreneurs is; “Follow your heart, know it is going to be tough and be prepared for those tough times, but remember to enjoy your entrepreneurial journey.”
