Nozi Kubeka had issues with infertility for a while and the struggle to get children made her think deeply about how she would raise them especially when they were in their teenage years.
She wanted to ensure that they would make wise decisions and avoid any problems later in their life. However she really didn’t know how to go about it.
She wrote her first book entitled “Tears, Joy and a Cherry on Top” where she shared her journey trying to get children. Soon after, she published the book “Teenager Be Wise”, and since then, there’s been no stopping her.
Now she’s the founder of Zon Communications, a company on a mission to make decision-making processes a little easier for young people.
Apart from selling her books, Zon communications organizes talks and workshops in schools and youth organizations. They recently launched the “Be Wise” clothing line for teenagers, which include T-shirts, caps, tracksuits, bags, etc. According to Nozi, the teenagers love the dresses. Now, they are in the process of starting an online store.
Her book, “Teenager be Wise” transforms the lives of young people with the powerful message on making wise decisions. And more than 23,000 copies of the book have been sold.
The testimonies she receives from transformed teenagers, pleasantly surprised parents, teachers and organizations gives Nozi the most joy.
Her advice to other female entrepreneurs is not to entertain fear and surround themselves with as much support as they can get.
