Since its inception in 2015, Akorion has established a network of over 42,000 farmers across Uganda. The company’s growth is supported by a network of village-based service providers – mainly young people, helping to address rural areas’ youth unemployment challenges.

The startup has not only helped to address the problem of youth unemployment in the East African nation, but it has also made it easier for farmers in the remote parts of Uganda to access different markets for their products.
