Meet Chantelle Bell, Co- Founder, Syrona Women

Chantelle Bell is a British entrepreneur and a graduate of the Bioscience Enterprise postgraduate course, University of Cambridge. She Co-Founded Syrona Women while in school with the aim of empowering women.

Syrona Women is a paradigm that allows women to monitor their health. This pregnancy-test like device allows women to test themselves for cervical cancer at home. The startup has been involved startup programs such as The Cambridge Judge Business School, Pitch@Palace, and Accelerace. It has also received funding from Pitch@Palace (2017), Grant, (2017) and Bethnal Green Ventures (2018).

Bell and Co-Founder Roy, have won awards from AccelerateHER Scotland, Tata, and Bethnal Green Ventures for their initiative. They have led talks at Cambridge Wireless UK and the prestigious MEDICA conference in Dusseldorf, Germany and have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding till date.

In 2018, Bell was named as one of Forbes Top 50 women in Tech for Europe. Bell was also named onthe Financial Times’ list of the ‘Top 100 minority ethnic leaders in technology, Financial Times list: The UK’s top 100 black and minority ethnic leaders in technology.
