Meet Ayoronke Tosin Oyeye, the young entrepreneur solving Africa’s mentorship problems

download-1

Ayoronke has always loved and appreciated talented people like Deola Sagoe, Fela Durotoye, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg, Mo Abudu, Jimi Tewe, Sheryl Sandberg and Aliko Dangote. She tried so hard to learn as much as  she could  from them. However, the closest she ever got to them were pictures, books and videos.

Over the years, Ayoronke was able to successfully link up with Doug Lawrence – the President and Founder TalentC People Services, Canada and get the privilege of having him as a mentor.

Knowing that she was not alone in the quest to reach out to potential mentors and hearing the successful mentorship stories of several other Africans, Ayoronke started IMentorAfrica, a virtual platform for Africans to link up and share the gift of mentorship. The platform is for everyone who is willing and able to mentor or be mentored.

Through the IMentorAfrica platform, people can easily request or volunteer to help shorten and smoothen others’ journeys. The mentorship is virtual and less stressful. It is done with the guidance of experts.

Ayoronke looks forward to when the concept of mentorship would become a way of life across Africa. She hopes that every successful African would willingly reach out to help others work through their path while working together to develop Africa and end poverty. Her greatest reward is in seeing people become happier, better and more successful because of her service.
