Meet Mary, a highly intellectual 19 year old college student who is boldly rewriting the history of politics and activism in Georgia. She is a public speaker, activist and one of the youngest candidates to run for a political office in the United States.

Her socio-political exploits date back to age 9 when she wrote and directed her first play production ‘Easy Street Ain’t Easy’ in a bid to kick against the anti-social treatment of children in adult dominated societies. There, she earned a name as the youngest director to put out an ‘all youth sold out’ production.

At age 10, she founded and became the spokesperson for ‘Youth in Action’, a non-profit platform for mobilizing youths to kick against social crimes. At age 13, she launched ‘Just Think Twice’, a campaign aimed at convincing youths to think twice before picking up a gun.

She is the author of ‘Thinking Out Loud’, an account of her involvement in community politics and bid at creating a social change. She sits as the National Youth Director of ‘National Action Network’, a platform through which she creates workshops and empowerment trainings for college students and teenagers. She is running for a City Council Seat in Stone Crest, which is her first major political exploit. Her candidacy has led to a review of the State’s constitutionally accepted electoral age, making her the youngest electoral candidate in Georgia. Her motto is ‘don’t wait to be great, you can change the world now’.

She is a box full of inspirations!
