Eniola Mafe Is Bringing Hope To Every Region She Holds Close To Her Heart Through Policy Development

Eniola Mafe is smashing it in the business sphere and we’re totally here for it! She is one of the most influential foreign policy leaders under 33 and her story is absolutely inspiring.

According to Eniola Mafe, development is the central factor of business. The London native with Nigerian roots spent three years as a Program Manager at the Niger Delta Partnership Initiative Foundation in Washington, D.C., before moving into her current role as Partnerships & Business Development Manager for the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta, which is based in Abuja, Nigeria. In this capacity, Mafe spearheads the program’s advocacy and outreach activities, helping the foundation find new ways to invest in socioeconomic development programs in the Niger Delta region.

While her work focuses heavily on Africa, she obtained her degree from the United States. Eniola who is a member of the service organization Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., received her B.A. in International Studies from Spelman College in Atlanta. She earned her Masters degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service thereafter.

In 2011, Eniola was named one of the 99 most influential foreign policy leaders under the age of 33 by the Diplomatic Courier and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Ventures Magazine Africa also selected her as one of the 13 Young Africans Business/Economic Leaders to Watch in 2013.

As a self-described “Afro-optimist,” Eniola is poised to bring hope through growth to the region she holds close to her heart, and she is more than qualified to do so.
