Discover how Otegha Uwagba is supporting women in the creative industry through the Woman Who platform

As a result of her personal experience in the workplace, Otegha Uwagba decided to create a platform to provide women with the tools and resources they need to overcome challenges they may face at work as a result of their gender and also to grow their career against all odds.

This platform, Women Who, connects, supports and inspires women who work in the creative industries through publications, online content and events. Shortly after the platform was launched, she embarked on her first project, Little Black Book which featured practical advice women could easily adopt from professionals in the creative industry. The topics covered in the book ranged from the art of networking to public speaking.

Not only does the Little Black Book cater to women in the corporate world, it also caters to self-employed women and freelancers.

Talking about the Women Who platform, this is what Otegha, who is also a Writer and a Brand Consultant, has to say;

“This is absolutely not about hashtag feminism. Women Who is a combination of all the things I’m most passionate about: creativity, women and work. I want to establish an inclusive network that feels modern and relevant, not corporate or stuffy… because being a working woman is hard enough without going it alone.”
