Cynthia Nyamai

Cynthia started out in the media as a business reporter, but quickly discovered that she could help companies with their communications challenges, so she started Cynthia Nyamai Communications. 

Cynthia identified identified the PR gap in Kenya and dedicated herself to help companies to better utilize communication strategies and to understand the role of Public Relations in their campaigns.

Bidemi Zakariyau

Fashionable and competent, Bidemi Zakariyau is the Founder & CEO of one of the fastest growing PR agencies in Nigeria, LSF|PR, a full-service public relations agency with core competencies in corporate communications, consumer and lifestyle brands.

Bidemi’s work reflects the international scope and breadth of the agency’s offering and has included advising clients on entry strategies into the Nigerian Market and ongoing corporate reputation building efforts. She recently founded and is the Head of Business Development of The Luxe Digest, a pan-African luxury content platform.

Mimi Kalinda

Mimi is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Africommunications Group (ACG), a pan-African public relations and communications agency based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She’s also the Director of Communications for the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), a network of centres of excellence incubating STEM education for Africa’s brightest students while searching for the next Einstein in Africa.

Farah Fortune

Farah Chirene Fortune is the Founder & Director of African Star Communications (ASC), and is a well-known business woman behind many successful celebrity & corporate brands.

She is better known to her clients & industry peers as “The Pitbull in Heels”. Farah built her business not by courting big clients, but by backing young up-and-comers, and growing her brand right alongside theirs. She was born in South Africa but spent most of her childhood and earlier adult years living in different parts of Europe, before moving back to South Africa in February 2004.

Diana Opoti

Diana is the Founder of leading Kenyan  Kenyan fashion consultancy – Diana Opoti PR. 

Her shift into fashion was accidental, stemming from the desire to showcase African talent to a wider audience. She began working on Designing Africa, a TV show that documented the new generation of emerging designers across the African content, and raised her profile as a champion for the continent’s fashion market.This led to the wildly successful 100 Days of African Fashion campaign on social media, that saw Diana travel the continent collecting locally made, innovative design pieces, which she showcased in 100 different outfits on her Instagram account.

After receiving increasing enquiries from fashion companies, Opoti transformed her media consultancy Artemis Media into Kenya’s first PR consultancy focusing exclusively on services for the fashion industry.

Ronke Bamisedun

Ronke is a PR consultant and Founder, Brands We Love  Agency, a Lagos-based strategic brand development and communications company, with experience covering music, fashion and consumer goods.

Ronke began her career in the music PR where she had the opportunity to work with some of London’s biggest music agencies who represented artists such as Mark Ronson, Madonna and Florence & The Machine. She has handled an impressive list of  clientele in recent times, and has also ventured into the Fashion business.
