Adesua Etomi has officially become our modern day African version of Cinderella. From her screen debut in 2014 to now, she has gracefully grown to become one of our favourite faces on the screen. Just recently, she gave us the sweetest surprise of a lifetime with the news of her engagement to Africa’s music icon, Banky W. Here are 5 times the screen diva left us wanting more in some of her screen characters.

Brave

Adesua was definitely brave in this one as she played the role of Layo, a loyal wife who stood by her crippled husband and helped bring him back to his feet. She taught us a major lesson of commitment which we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

Gidi Up

We looved the sassy Sharon! She was smart, beautiful, though could be really saucy. But she definitely gave us some major winning goals with her passion to build an excellent fashion brand.

Shuga

She played the role of Sheila, fiancée to a HIV positive man. She strongly earned her love with her loyalty to him in spite of her family’s disapproval. Can love get more beautiful?

Ayamma

We just had to fall in love with her amazing soulful lyrical performance. Of course, we all agree that she melted our hearts. We long for more of that awesomeness.
